As part of a replacement contract, we are looking for a successor in the foreign service for the region of the Nordic Region ( Scandinavia / Finland / Iceland ) for a renowned manufacturer of refractory products and molds for foundries. Based in Ohio (USA), the company is active in more than 100 countries around the world and has 9 production sites, including one in Tholen (NL). From Tholen, the company plans, controls and takes care of the European area.
With the new employee, the aim is to analyze existing distribution channels and identify further potential on the market in order to significantly increase sales.
The position is to be filled remotely. From then on, in addition to customer visits, regular meetings are also held in the Tholen offices.
Key Duties:
- Promote, introduce, demonstrate and obtain orders for all products. Provide technical recommendations to customers and (if applicable) distributors.
- For assigned accounts, follow-up regularly on competitive activity, product performance, proper use of our written procedures, etc. With these accounts, you should be recognized as a constant and consistent presence by foundry line personnel and supervisors.
- Service all accounts as needed, including installation, trouble-shooting, complaints etc.
- Make the necessary calls on customers, potential customers and cold calls to maximize sales this includes to complete and submit call reports in a timely fashion. Make sure this information is transmitted clearly and accurately. Determine appropriate follow-up actions, implement and report to Regional Manager Central Europe.
Qualifications:
- An Associate’s Degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial technology, engineering technology, or a related discipline; or equivalent experience is desired.
- Experience in the Recycling – Industry, Petrochemistry and other High Temperature applications would be desirable
- Comes from the refractory, foundry or aluminum industry.
- Requires solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English verbal and in writing.
- Must be willing to travel as needed throughout designated territories.
